ICE SVU Potemkin Raid Signifying Nothing

With great fanfare ICE SVU, formally known as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), raided a flagrant employer of illegal aliens, CVE Technology Group.  ICE SVU trumpeted arrest almost 300 illegal aliens.  However, minimal review of the operation revealed that ICE SVU was more concerned about releasing illegal aliens from custody, rather than deporting or prosecuting those illegal aliens for the crimes they committed, much less the employer.  Why, because the “raid” was led by a Deep State saboteur, Katrina Berger, Special Agent-in-Charge of the ICE SVU Dallas office, and more designed to deceive the administration rather than enforce immigration law.

First, the boob bait for Bubbas, the Potemkin village of immigration enforcement, the kabuki theater of ICE SVU:

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 280 employees at a technology repair company in Collin County, Texas, on charges of working in the United States illegally. It’s the largest work site raid in the country in more than a decade, according to a Homeland Security Investigations official.

ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations division received tips that the company — CVE Technology Group — may have knowingly hired undocumented immigrants and that several workers were using fraudulent identification documents, said Katrina Berger, special agent in charge in HSI’s Dallas office. Hiring irregularities found during an audit of the company’s I-9 forms confirmed those tips. CVE hasn’t responded to media requests for comment.

Resistance leader Berger said the appropriate words, but obviously with little meaning:

Federal hiring laws require that employers have new hires fill out I-9 forms. The laws perform “necessary and common sense functions,” Berger said at a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

“They ensure U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents are hired for jobs in the U.S.,” Berger said. “They also ensure that illegal workers are not preyed upon or paid less than the going wage or otherwise coerced or cheated or subjected to unsafe working conditions without any means of complaint.”

However, Berger was more interested in covering for illegal aliens and releasing so-called “care-givers” and other illegal aliens than enforcing the law so as to discourage the crime.

The workers arrested on Wednesday will first be interviewed by ICE, which will make note of “humanitarian situations” such as medical needs or whether a worker is the sole caretaker of another person such as a child.

Based on those interviews, ICE will decide who remains in immediate custody and who can be considered for temporary humanitarian release.

Either way, ICE said in a statement that “in all cases, all illegal aliens encountered will be fingerprinted and processed for removal from the United States.”

Most will be released, as soon started to happen, and apparently none of the illegal aliens will be charged with the various crimes they committed to obtain and maintain illegal employment.

Maria Soria waited in tears outside the repair plant. Her mother, Socorro Lechuga, 46, is an employee there and was eventually released by ICE agents.

Soria, 24, said her mother already had a petition for legalization in place before the raid. Lechuga is originally from Guerrero, Mexico.

She called her mother’s lawyer, who told her not to worry because, he said, “they’ll either release her or set a bond to be released within 48 hours” and that “they can’t do anything to her, pretty much, because she does have a petition in place.”

“So that gave me peace of mind, that at least I know my mom will be OK,” Soria said. “As for anyone else here, I really don’t know their status or their situation, so that’s a whole different story.”

All the local shysters in the Treason Bar know Deep State Berger, she will do anything to aid illegal aliens, including not making arrests for false statements on the aforementioned Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.  Why is it that Berger did not order Special Agents under her command to file criminal charges against the 280 illegal aliens arrested, like Socorro Lechuga?  Because Berger hates immigration enforcement.  She is one of the Customs pukes who dominate ICE SVU and don’t want to arrest and investigate illegal aliens.  Note for the record, the Treason Bar shyster above who claimed that “they can’t do anything to her, pretty much, because she does have a petition in place.” doesn’t know the law.  What this Treason Bar shyster knows is that Deep State saboteurs in ICE SVU, ICE Office of the Principle Legal Adviser, and in U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), are sabotaging immigration enforcement.  An illegal alien with a petition is not immune from arrest, in fact, an alien with an outstanding petition while in the United States, who violates the terms and conditions of admission should be placed in removal proceedings and criminally prosecuted for the crimes they commit, but saboteurs are undermining President Trump.

But back to Katrina Berger.  Who is she?  Well, to the frequent reader, it is obvious, she is a legacy U.S. Customs Service (USCS) employee of ICE SVU.  ICE SVU was created out of the legacy U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service and the legacy USCS investigative sections.  The shotgun marriage of those two agencies in ICE SVU was a disaster from the start.  The legacy Customs agents did not want to do immigration work and were untrained and incapable of doing that work, while the legacy INS agents could do both customs and immigration work.  However, legacy Customs managers soon seized control of ICE under President Jorge Bush, and the rest is a history of failure.  Under Obama the situation continued, but when President Trump was elected and ended the Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty and revoked the notorious Morton Memos, that was unacceptable to the insubordinate legacy Customs employees at ICE SVU and they pledged to sabotage immigration enforcement.  And they did so publicly and flagrantly, attacking President Trump and his policies on immigration enforcement.  Berger was a leader of the attack on President Trump’s policy along side other Deep Staters like Joseph Macias, James Gibbons, and Ryan Spradlin.  A review of Berger’s LinkedIn shows she was at the heart of the Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty and the John Morton sabotage of immigration enforcement.
